| | |  Lee Min Ho is one of the most popular Asian actors working today. Born on June 22, 1987, he should not be confused with the younger Lee Min Ho (born June 28, 1993), another Korean actor. This Lee Min Ho’s popularity extends well beyond the borders of Korea into China and other countries throughout the world and even has his very own wax figure at Madame Tussauds Beijing. Lee Min Ho began acting in small roles in high school but shot to fame after his iconic role as rich bad boy Goo Joon Pyo in the hit Korean drama “Boys Over Flowers” (2009), which garnered him the Best New Actor award at the 45th Baeksang Arts Awards. The breakthrough role led to other leading-man roles in the popular dramas “Personal Taste” (2010), “City Hunter” (2011), “The Great Doctor (aka Faith)” (2012), “Heirs” (2013) and “The Legend of the Blue Sea” (2016-2017), bringing many more acting awards and accolades. In addition to acting, Lee Min Ho also has released two music albums and is a popular endorsement model. In 2014, a Chinese entertainment magazine dubbed Lee Min Ho the winner of its “Asian Male God” poll.

Lee Min Ho (născut la 22 iunie 1987) este un actor sud-coreean, care este cel mai bine cunoscut pentru rolurile sale în Boys Over Flowers (2009), ca Gu Jun-pyo, liderul unui grup de studenți cunoscut sub numele de F4, drama de acțiune City Hunter (2011), Faith (2012) si The Heirs (2013). Cel mai nou serial al sau este Gangnam Blues: Gangnam 1970 si apare pe micile ecrane in 2015.
Lee s-a născut în Heukseok-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seul, Coreea de Sud pe 22 iunie 1987. Familia lui constă din mama, tatăl și o soră mai mare. Ca un copil mic, Lee spera sa devina un jucător de fotbal, dar o accidentare în clasa a 5-a școlii elementare a pus capăt visului său. Lee, cu toate acestea, încă mai ține pasul cu fotbalul și a precizat că Cristiano Ronaldo este jucătorul lui preferat.
În al doilea an de liceu, Lee a apelat la actorie. Prin ultimul an de liceu în liceu a aderat Starhaus de divertisment cu ajutorul unui cunoscut. După ce a trecut prin cursuri de formare, Lee a început vizionari și a aterizat în roluri mici drame de televiziune mai multe.
În 2006, cariera de actor a fost pusă în așteptare în urma unui accident de masina, în care el a fost grav rănit.
Descoperirea a venit în 2009 cu rolul principal al Gu Jun-pyo, în Boys Over Flowers (KBS2), adaptare coreeană a Hana Yori. Lee este student în Film & Artă de la Universitatea Konkuk.
În 2011, el a jucat in drama de acțiune City Hunter. Pe 6 aprilie 2012, Lee a anunțat pe pagina sa de Facebook că va apărea într-o nouă dramă numită Faith (hangul: 신의, Rom:. Shinui). A fost ales de trei ori la rand ca fiind cel mai bun actor din Coreea si de patru ori cel mai bun cantaret.
